Key Responsibilities
Distribution, Sales & Reseller Network Growth·
- Drive power stations and related products distribution through appointed distributors, wholesalers, and trade resellers within assigned territories.·
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new resellers in line with Cytek Solar’s channel expansion strategy.
- Consistently meet and surpass assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective reseller coverage and territory execution.
- Ensure healthy stock movement, replenishment, and availability across the distribution network.
- Ensure adequate product availability, merchandising, and brand visibility at partner outlets.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotions within the electricals and power backup category.
- Support promotional campaigns, roadshows, and dealer activations as required.
Account & Territory Management·
- Manage distributor and key reseller relationships to maximize volume uptake and continuity of supply.
- Support resellers with order planning, forecasting, and basic technical-commercial guidance.
- Resolve trade-related issues affecting sales performance, including pricing alignment, stock delays, and channel bottlenecks.
Performance Tracking & Reporting·
- Track sell-in volumes, reseller productivity, and stock positions against targets.
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, territory reports, and reseller performance updates.
- Identify underperforming resellers and implement corrective actions or replacement strategies.
Market Intelligence·
- Monitor competitor distribution activity, reseller strategies, and pricing structures.
- Provide structured market feedback to support product planning and go-to-market execution.
Qualifications & Experience·
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electricals or energy product trade distribution, channel sales, or reseller management.·
- Experience handling power stations, inverters, UPS systems, or generators is a strong advantage.·
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies·
- Strong ability to recruit, develop, and manage reseller networks·
- Target-driven mindset with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets·
- Solid understanding of trade distribution models and channel economics·
- Strong negotiation, reporting, and territory management skills·
- Familiarity with Nairobi’s electricals distribution landscape
