Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tour Sales Officer to join our team. The Job holder will manage client interactions, ensure smooth bookings, and oversee safari experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients through WhatsApp, email, and calls to manage inquiries, bookings, and payments and and ensure a quick response time to client inquiries
  • Prepare detailed itineraries and ensure all client requests and services are included.
  • Create accurate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on timely payments
  • Follow up with clients on safari to ensure satisfaction, promptly resolving any arising issues with accommodation or transport by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Consistently gather post-safari client feedback and handle any concerns.
  • Ensure all changes in bookings or itineraries are clearly communicated to clients before and during their trips.
  • Maintain a problem-free safari experience by resolving issues before they escalate to the office, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets, measured weekly and monthly.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality.
  • Proficiency in German or Spanish language is key for this position
  • At least 2 years experience in the travel industry, particularly in reservations and/ or hotel bookings /reservations.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the travel or tourism sector.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary
