Description
Assisting in preparation of anesthesia, ensuring cleanliness of the theatre,sluicing used linen and instruments,packing and sterilizing of surgical packs/instruments
Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment’s and requirements for induction and reversal of anesthesia
- Checking the anesthetic and suction machines for working condition in liaison with the theatre in charge. from and to the operating table.
- Perform high cleaning and dusting of the entire operating area
- Participate in positioning of the patient for the surgical procedure.
- Assisting in lifting of the patients during transfer
- Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description. Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description
Qualifications
- Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technician
