About The Role
Technical QA Analyst will be responsible for testing of software products to ensure they meet business requirements and agreed quality standards. They will work closely with the development team to identify and report issues for resolution.
Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Execute tests and document results.
- Identify, report, and track defects in bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
- Participate in the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language
- Knowledge of at least one database management system
- Coordination and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team as and when required
- Experience in test automation will be an advantage
- Experience with performance and security testing will be an advantage
