Job Summary:
As a Student Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. You will provide expert advice on university admissions, course selection, and career opportunities. Your goal will be to empower students to achieve their full potential and make successful transitions to further education or the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students on university admissions, course selection, and career guidance
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions
- Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as study skills, career development, and university preparation
- Stay up-to-date with changes in education systems, university admissions, and career trends
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement counseling programs and services
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and counseling activities
Requirements:
- Diploma in business or related field.
- Proven experience in student counseling, guidance, or a related role a minimum of 2 years is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups
- Strong knowledge of education systems, university admissions, and career development
