Role Description
- Perform functional, regression, and usability testing on applications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve test issues, identify root causes, and retest resolved issues.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements.
- Conduct compatibility tests across various devices and platforms.
- Utilize automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Provide detailed reports on testing progress and results.
- Stay current with new testing tools and strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and good communication.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in computer science
- Technical skills are also highly, basic understanding of programming languages like Java or Python, familiarity with web technologies like HTML and JavaScript, and
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, such as test plans and bug reports.
