The Payments and DFS Senior Associate is responsible for leading a team of consultants in providing strategic advice to banks, payment service providers, regulators and fintechs on matters involving payments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry, as well as experience in consulting and business development.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of consultants in providing strategic advice to clients on issues involving payments – from market insights to internal design and value proposition
- Develop and execute proposals for new client engagements
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the payments industry
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in payments technology and grow personal and firm profile through blogs and public reports
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects. Clients are expected to include:
- National switches
- Regulators
- Development partners in the payment space
- Banks (payment divisions – issuing, acquiring, across all payment streams)
- Payment Service Providers
- Fintechs
- Card Associations
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships
- Develop and train more junior members of the team
- Develop new products and services that can be sold to clients in the field of payments and digital financial services

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
