Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls, managing accounts, verifying financial data, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and statutory requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor production costs, overheads, and variances and implement cost saving measures and analyse profitability.
• Prepare and verify financial statements, management reports, and statutory returns.
• Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and track revenue against approved allocations.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets.
• Authorize payments, manage accounts receivable/payable, and reconcile bank statements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
• Formulate and implement financial policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business growth

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must be CPA (Kenya), ACCA, or equivalent.
• Must be a member of ICPAK
• 5–7 years in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations in Kenya.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skill
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Competencies

• Uphold transparency and accountability in financial management.
• Ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting.
• Align financial decisions with organizational goals.
