Sales Representatives – Kericho Job

Job Purpose

To recruit, present, promote, and sell products and services to existing and prospective members of the SACCO.

Reporting to: Marketing Officer

Duties and responsibilities

• Recruit new members from existing organizations in the SACCO.
• Recruit new organizations into the SACCO.
• Conduct a know-your-customer (KYC) on new members and organizations to be recruited.
• Ensure recruited member accounts are active.
• Participate in various regional outreach events such as sales and marketing activations, member education, among others.
• Establish and maintain good member relationships.
• Promote SACCO products and services.
• Assist in the implementation of sales, marketing, and business growth strategies.
• Preparation and submission of daily sales and marketing reports.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Strong persuasion skills with charisma, and a deep understanding of changing market dynamics and sales strategies.
• Thorough knowledge of principles of sales & marketing coupled with brand, product, and service management.

• Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A person of high integrity and a team player.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a certificate in business-related course
• Knowledge of sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in a similar position.
• Computer proficiency will be an added advantage.
