Sales Associates, Nakuru- Buyer Facing Job
The Sales Associate – Buyer-Facing at Peach is responsible for guiding customers through the car buying journey—from first contact to final sale. This role is focused on understanding each buyer’s unique needs, presenting suitable options, and building trust through transparent and consultative selling. The associate plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, handling inquiries, scheduling test drives, and negotiating deals that meet both customer expectations and business goals.
Beyond direct sales, the associate will collaborate with teams across Inspections, Fleet, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless handover experience. They will manage customer data and follow-up processes using CRM tools, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely communication. The role requires a strong understanding of the used car market, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As Peach grows, the Sales Associate will help refine the customer experience and contribute to achieving ambitious sales targets across all branches.
Responsibilities
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Guide buyers through the full sales journey with professionalism and empathy
- Conduct needs assessments, schedule test drives, and communicate offers
SALES PERFORMANCE
- Negotiate deals, trade-ins, and financing options to meet and exceed targets
- Maintain accurate records and follow-ups in CRM to drive conversions
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Work with Inspections, Fleet, and Customer Success teams for clear handovers
- Ensure vehicle availability and support pipeline management with Marketing
DATA & TOOLS
- Track leads, deals, and customer interactions through CRM & internal systems
- Report on sales metrics to inform strategy and improve conversion rates
MARKET KNOWLEDGE
- Stay up to date on car trends, specs, and customer preferences
- Engage in training & events to sharpen sales techniques & product understanding
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related)
- 2+ years in automotive sales or retail/customer experience
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills
- Proficient with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for sales
- Knowledge of the Kenyan auto market is a plus!
