Key Responsibilities
- Hit (and beat) monthly sales targets—because you love the scoreboard.
- Own your territory: build and grow a strong pipeline (minimum 175 accounts) across corporate, leisure, MICE, and social events.
- Drive revenue across the full guest journey—rooms, conferences, outside catering, group dining, cocktails, and more.
- Sell the Sarova Zawadi membership and grow ARR in your zone—smart pricing, strong value, stronger closes.
- Stay ahead of the market: track trends, budgets, buying patterns, and competitor moves—then recommend actions that win business.
- Keep our Goldmine updated daily—clean data, clear notes and next steps that keep deals moving.
- Turn clients into fans: consistent follow-ups, timely updates and feedback that helps us level up our service.
- Report like a pro: weekly visit & pipeline updates plus a monthly revenue summary.
- Host and entertain clients as per policy—relationships matter, and you know how to build them.
- Support the annual business plan with fresh ideas, smart segmentation and real market insights.
- Show up ready for sales meetings—wins, learnings, challenges and your next big move.
- Plan and execute sales activity across your portfolio: strategic accounts (weekly), relationship accounts (biweekly), transactional accounts (monthly).
- Jump in on any other business-building tasks assigned by management—team sport, shared wins.
Qualifications
You’re a match if you:
- Are young at heart and energized for challenges.
- Have a Degree/Diploma in Business (Sales option/minor is a plus).
- Bring at least 4 years’ experience in the service industry (hotel marketing/sales is highly preferred).
- Understand the corporate and commerce space.
- Are a natural relationship builder—confident, upbeat, presentable, and comfortable talking to decision-makers.
- Can work with others, influence without drama, and delegate appropriately.
- Very mobile and ready to travel locally and overseas.
