Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safari Designer to join our team.

As a Safari Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable safari experiences, curating wildlife encounters, and ensuring the highest standards of conservation and education.

Responsibilities:

Enquiry Management:

  • Respond promptly to inquiries related to domestic, regional, and international hotels & safaris, ensuring a turnaround time of within 24 hours.
  • Provide comprehensive information on tour packages, accommodation options, and travel logistics.

Tour Package Development:

  • Create and promote innovative tour packages to meet market demand.
  • Prepare detailed itineraries for various destinations, considering client preferences and interests.
  • Make follow-ups for tour quotations and ensure competitiveness
  • Establish and maintain contacts with service providers to negotiate competitive contract rates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment for each tour booking, obtaining proper authorization for credit sales when required.

Quality Control and Client Satisfaction:

  • Brief drivers before safari departures and prepare welcome packs for tourists.
  • Address clients’ special requests, such as accommodation preferences, dietary needs, and language specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Wildlife Conservation, Ecology, Tourism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in safari planning and wildlife tourism (minimum 6 years).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for wildlife conservation and ethical tourism.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in French, German or Spanish is an added bonus.
