Position: Retail Executive – Job Location – Nairobi | Work condition: Occasional travel to field operations.

The Retail Executive is responsible for overseeing and expanding sales within a designated geographic area. He/she develops and maintains relationships with retail clients, distributors, and partners, promote the company & products and services, and ensure sales targets are met.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales & marketing, customer service or related field of study.
  • 5 +years’ work experience, preferably in a busy company, preferably oil & gas industry.
  • Demonstrable competence in retail sales and operations.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to achieve or beat the established revenue targets set by the organization.
  • Analyse the product sales on a day- to -day basis.
  • Carrying out market intelligence to ensure competitiveness.
  • Ensuring statutory compliance and adherence to company policy in the day-to-day management of retail section.
  • Prospecting and sourcing for strategic sites for retail expansion.
  • Ability to assess each client’s needs to implement more effective sales techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with ESG (environment, social &corporate governance) &HSE management ( Health, Safety & Environment).
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be exceptionally self-disciplined, results-oriented, have strong work ethics and follow-up skills.
