Role Summary

The Regional Sales Executive is a full-time, field-based position with responsibilities for new customer software registrations, onboarding, and supporting our livestock value chain stakeholders within a designated region. This position will also oversee enrolled farmers and feedlots under the LiveStockEx Feedlot Programme; responsibilities include data verification, accurate geo-mapping and high-touch customer management.

  • Master the LiveStockEx trading platform software features and functionality
  • Sign up and onboard farmers, buyers, transporters, veterinarians, and feedlots to the LiveStockEx digital platform.
  • Support the adoption of LiveStockEx technology and our company strategy and programmes. Ensure a healthy balance of buyers and sellers on the platform.
  • Conduct spot checks for enrolled farmers and feedlots to cross-check data in the LiveStockEx trading platform and verify location mapping.
  • Track, validate, and submit accurate sales data and analytical field reports.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for regional users and escalate customer issues when required.
  • Ensure 100% of all feedlot program livestock sales in your region are occurring on the LiveStockEx trading platform.
  • Build strong relationships with local stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in agri-sales or a related agricultural field role.
  • Strong digital literacy (mobile apps, CRM, digital data collection tools).
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili; local dialect is an advantage.
  • Excellent skill level in sales, communication, presentation, reporting, customer engagement and customer management .
  • Ability to work independently in the field to achieve regional sales and customer retention goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of users onboarded per region.
  • Number of livestock tagged and registered for sale on the LiveStockEx platform
  • LiveStock trading volume on the LiveStockEx platform
  • Completion and accuracy of customer spot checks and geo-mapping.
  • Timeliness and quality of field reports
  • Adoption and success of the Feedlot Programme
  • Customer satisfaction and stakeholder retention.
