Production Dairy Processing Plant Manager Job Hornbill

Location: Nakuru County
Employment Type: Full Time / Immediate Start
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily dairy processing operations (milk reception, pasteurization, fermentation, packaging, dispatch)
- Develop production plans and monitor efficiency, yields and downtime
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, KEBS, KDB and food safety standards
- Supervise plant staff, manage shifts and provide training on safety and hygiene
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery
- Manage raw materials, packaging and finished goods inventory
- Monitor production costs and support budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, Production Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years’ experience in dairy or food processing, with 3+ years in a managerial role
- Knowledge of dairy processing systems, quality control and food safety compliance
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and operational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting
