Role Objective

As a SaaS Product Marketing Manager, you will lead market research, product localization, and growth initiatives to drive the adoption and competitive positioning of the product in the SME and enterprise markets. This role focuses on optimizing go-to-market strategies, executing digital marketing campaigns, and enabling sales teams with the necessary tools to enhance customer acquisition and conversion. Collaboration across product, marketing, and sales teams will be key to ensuring product-market fit and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Product Localization

  • Research market trends and track competitor activities to ensure the product maintains a competitive advantage in the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) and enterprise markets.
  • Analyze the local business environment, user needs, and industry pain points to ensure the product aligns with the operational landscape of local businesses.
  • Provide localization optimization recommendations, adapting to regional user habits by enhancing user experience, payment options, pricing strategies, and product functionalities to improve market acceptance.

Marketing & Growth Support

  • Assist the marketing team in executing digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and content marketing, designing conversion pathways to improve customer acquisition.
  • Explore new growth channels and marketing strategies, such as organic growth, referral programs, and partnership initiatives.
  • Support brand-building efforts to increase the product’s visibility in the African market and strengthen product market recognition.

Sales Enablement

  • Develop sales enablement tools, including product brochures, presentations, competitive analysis guides, and customer case studies, to help the sales team effectively communicate product value.
  • Optimize lead management and nurturing processes to improve acquisition efficiency and customer conversion rates.
  • Assist the sales team in engaging with key customers.

Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Over 4 years of experience in product marketing and customer growth-focused product design.
  • SaaS industry background or familiarity with ERP systems and e-commerce platforms is a MUST.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, digital advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads), and content marketing.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating effectively across marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in at least one product design tool, such as Axure RP, Sketch, Figma, etc.
