Procurement and Supply Chain Officer Job

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Supply Chain Officer to support the smooth and cost-effective sourcing, delivery, and inventory management of essential supplies across all our operations. This role requires someone who can manage end-to-end procurement processes, maintain accurate inventory records, liaise with suppliers, and work cross-functionally with clinic and operations teams. The ideal candidate is organized, systems-savvy, and confident in driving procurement efficiencies while ensuring supply reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure medical and non-medical supplies across all locations
• Ensure timely and cost-efficient purchasing by tracking stock levels and forecasting demand
• Manage supplier relationships, including quote collection, negotiations, and contract oversight
• Update inventory systems and maintain accurate stock records (including categorization and tracking)
• Monitor product movement and expiry to minimize losses
• Prepare procurement plans for new locations and support timely setup
• Track key procurement and supply metrics (e.g., COGS, stock turnover)
• Maintain and reconcile the asset register on a monthly basis
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce supply chain costs

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
• Strong understanding of sourcing processes and vendor management
• Experience using inventory systems and tools (e.g., POS systems)
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and time management
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
• High attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience working in healthcare, retail, or distribution is a plus
