Procurement Officer Job Manyatta TVC

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement and disposal activities in compliance with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) guidelines and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act
- Prepare and implement Annual procurement plans.
- Prepare tender documents, request for quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain proper procurement records and supplier databases.
- Ensure timely sourcing of goods, works and services.
- Serve as a secretary to the procurement/ tender committee where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with internal control systems and audit requirements.
- Advise Management on procurement best practices and risk management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Must be a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
- At least three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in a public institution.
- Should have knowledge of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) 2015.
- Proficiency in ICT and Procurement management systems.
