Job Description:
The Public Relations Officer is responsible for enhancing KTB’s public image through effective media relations, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies aligned with KTB’s branding.
- Draft press releases, media kits, speeches, and other PR content.
- Organize media briefings, interviews, and press conferences.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local and international media.
- Monitor media coverage and public perception of KTB and the tourism sector.
- Coordinate crisis communication in line with established protocols.
- Support the development of internal communication strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Key Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Communications,Journalism,Public Relations, Marketing or related field from a recognized institution;
- Member of a relevant professional body
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
