We are committed to providing high-quality products, efficient service, and a reliable supply chain to meet the needs of our growing customer base. We are now seeking a results-driven and hands-on Operations Manager to take charge of our go-down operations and drive performance across warehouse activities.
The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring efficient goods flow, adherence to SOPs, team accountability, and optimal stock management. The ideal candidate is a disciplined leader with strong systems orientation, inventory expertise, and the ability to manage high-volume operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise and lead day-to-day activities of the go-down team.
- Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members, set performance expectations, and lead by example.
- Enforce company values and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Operational Management
- Oversee receipt, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure efficient handling of diverse hardware SKUs.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the warehouse.
Inventory Control & Systems Implementation
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock takes; swiftly reconcile variances.
- Champion digital tools to streamline inventory processes and minimize errors.
Process Improvement & Policy Enforcement
Identify inefficiencies and implement system-based solutions.
Roll out and enforce SOPs and operational policies.
Drive operational excellence and measurable performance improvements.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Manage inbound/outbound logistics and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams for smooth operations.
- Anticipate and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop and submit regular reports to the CEO, focusing on KPIs, inventory accuracy, and trends.
- Analyze operational data to drive improvements and forecast needs.
- Take ownership and accountability for go-down performance outcomes.
Customer Experience Support
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Promote a customer-first approach within the operations team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required:
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role in operations, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Strong team leadership and disciplinary capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
- Proficiency with ERPs/inventory software (Tally ERP preferred).
- Analytical thinker with experience tracking KPIs and using data for decisions.
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with hardware products and construction materials (e.g., tools, fasteners, plumbing/electrical supplies).
- Prior experience in a hardware go-down or similar setup.
- Practical knowledge of local supply chains, vendors, and logistics.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP for inventory and reporting.
