Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Nuclear Technician – AI trainer and play a critical role in shaping the future of AI within the nuclear industry. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will leverage your expertise to train AI models, ensuring accuracy and relevance in nuclear operations, laboratory, power generation, and radiation monitoring scenarios. This position offers the unique opportunity to impact next-generation technology from anywhere.

  • Collaborate with AI product teams to provide nuclear domain expertise for training and enhancing artificial intelligence models.
  • Develop, review, and refine AI training materials aligned with real-world nuclear operations, safety protocols, and laboratory procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and advise on nuclear testing and research equipment in a simulated or training context.
  • Offer guidance and quality control in the validation of AI-generated outputs related to nuclear technology and processes.
  • Monitor and assess AI model performance with respect to radiation monitoring and safety compliance.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly through both written and verbal channels.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on standard operating procedures, troubleshooting, and regulatory requirements in nuclear settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Nuclear Technician, Auxiliary Operator, Equipment Operator, Licensed or Non-Licensed Nuclear Operator, or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory, power generation, or electricity production activities in nuclear environments.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and ensure quality control of nuclear testing and monitoring equipment.
  • Experience monitoring radiation and applying safety measures in nuclear settings.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in AI training, annotation, or validation related to technical or scientific domains.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration and data sharing.
  • Background in developing or delivering technical training content.
