We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to take full ownership of our NetSuite ERP platform. You’ll replace external contractors, leading all internal development, customization, and optimization. This is a hands-on role with direct access to leadership, giving you the freedom to implement solutions that significantly improve business operations.
Responsibilities
NetSuite Development & Customization
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1), workflows, and integrations
- Create and maintain custom records, forms, fields, and dashboards
- Develop RESTlets and SuiteTalk web services for system integration
Business Process Automation
- Automate manual tasks using NetSuite workflows and scripts
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across Finance, Sales, Operations, and more
System Integration & Administration
- Manage integrations with external systems (Salesforce, Shopify, Avalara, third-party APIs)
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently
- Maintain user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Oversee sandbox environment and production deployments
- Monitor system performance and address bugs or escalations
Internal Collaboration & Project Ownership
- Act as a technical advisor for NetSuite-related needs across departments
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials
- Take full responsibility for NetSuite projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBundler
- Experience in heavily customized NetSuite environments
- Strong understanding of NetSuite modules (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, CRM, etc.)
- Experience with NetSuite integrations via RESTlets, web services, or middleware tools (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft)
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Experience with SDLC practices, version control (e.g., Git), and sandbox environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
