ROLE OVERVIEW
The Legal Clerk will support day-to-day legal operations by ensuring accurate filing, timely follow-ups at courts and registries, and operational support to the legal team. The role requires strong familiarity with court procedures, professionalism in external engagements, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Filing matters at courts and land registries accurately and on time
- Following up on court processes, rulings, and registry documentation
- Liaising professionally with court and registry officials
- Supporting advocates with court-related logistics and documentation
- Maintaining organized records of filings and follow-ups
REQUIREMENTS
- Practical familiarity with court stations and land registry procedures
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to move efficiently between locations (motorbike or driving ability is an advantage)
- Prior experience in a legal or clerical role is an added advantage
