Qualifications
- Earned PhD in Nursing from an accredited Univesity
- Masters in Midwifery and Reproductive health Nursing, in addition to BSc Nursing from an accredited university .
- Atleast three (3) years teaching experience at university level or in research.
- Evidence of attendance & contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops
- Valid Practising License from the Nursing Council of Kenya
- A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least 16 should be from refereed journal papers
- Evidence of active participation in school/departmental activities or demonstrated leadership in university activities
- Skills Lab Management experience

Responsibilities
- Conducting high quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the University.
- Engaging in curriculum and program review and development.
- Evaluating students through continuous assessments and examinations.
- Implementing best practices in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements
- Implementing change intitiatives to achieve desired university strategic goals.
- Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurture
- Mobilizing resources and building bridges with industry.
- Supervise graduate students in their research projects and dissertations
- Teaching and training of students in line with University policies, processes and procedures.
