Lecturer in Education Curriculum Job Kabarak University, Nakuru, Kenya
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and research in Education Curriculum, Curriculum Studies and related areas (four courses per semester)
- Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
- Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Curriculum Studies and related areas
- Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
- Developing and reviewing curriculum materials, course outlines and teaching resources
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management
Qualifications and skills
- An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Education, Curriculum Studies or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
- Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools
- At least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
- Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
- Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills
