Objectives of the assignment
GGGI is hiring a junior individual consultant to support the strategic operations for the Africa Regional office. The junior Individual consultant is a full-time consultant who will be assisting the GGGI Africa Regional Program for the implementation of the Africa Regional program and Country Projects development specifically on the ‘Creating an Enabling Environment to Catalyze Green Investment into Green Hydrogen Industry in Kenya’ project, and timely delivery of the activities.

Deliverables and Payment Schedule
Communication Support
- Assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with national and local media outlets and journalists for relevant coverage of GGGI’s work about the ‘Creating an Enabling Environment to Catalyze Green Investment into Green Hydrogen Industry in Kenya’ and other ‘Key Africa Regional Office Events’.
- Liaise with communication service providers, such as event organizers, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tasks, services, products, etc. specifically on the ‘Creating an Enabling Environment to Catalyze Green Investment’ into Green Hydrogen Industry in Kenya and other specific ‘Key Africa Regional Office Events’
- Support building a strong collaborative working relationship with the Communication and Knowledge Sharing Unit at HQ and ensure the smooth implementation of communication, branding guidelines and policies.
Project Preparation Support
- Support the preparation of concept notes and project proposals for the Kenya Country Office, including providing guidance on the recalibration of inputs and outputs; ensure that timely donor approval is requested for project amendments.
- Support proposal development, including conducting background research to inform proposal design.
- Support the preparation of business cases and programme proposals.
