The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s tax compliance, timely and accurate statutory reporting, and the preparation of financial reports in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and facilitate provision of audit schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate tax returns (e.g., VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE), reconcile tax accounts, and maintain complete supporting documentation.
- Liaise with tax authorities on audits and queries, ensuring full compliance with local and international tax regulations, including OECD BEPS and transfer pricing.
- Track tax legislation changes, evaluate their business impact, and support the execution of tax-efficient and risk-mitigating strategies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and contribute to strengthening internal financial reporting controls.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
- CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, tax, or audit (preferably in a corporate or consultancy environment).
- Strong understanding of local and international tax laws and financial reporting standards (IFRS or GAAP).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
