Position Overview
- Our client is seeking a motivated and target-driven Junior Sales Executive to support their merchant acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will help onboard new merchants onto their fintech platform, which offers digital payment solutions and financial services tailored to retailers. This is an entry-level role with growth opportunities for high performers.
- Identify, approach, and acquire new merchants to onboard them to our fintech platform.
- Promote the benefits of using our digital payment solutions, mobile POS, and financial products.
- Conduct field visits, cold calls, and in-person demos to drive merchant registrations.
- Assist merchants with onboarding, documentation, and initial usage support.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly acquisition targets and report performance to the Sales Lead.
- Maintain good relationships with on boarded merchants and support upselling initiatives.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to improve product offerings.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field with 1-2 years working experience in sales
- Previous sales experience in a fintech is an added advantage
Competencies and Attributes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong financial skill knowledge and aptitude (e.g. P&L, cash flow, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Sales-driven mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and client success.
- Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
