Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire an Inventory Accountant to be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining records of all inventory transactions, and minimizing stock variances.

Location: Nairobi | Salary: Ksh. 50,000 (gross)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support in daily production & plant performance reporting.
- Work order & Store goods in transit closure follow through.
- Validate daily rework & wastages as reported by Production TLs.
- Participate in stock taking
- Daily piece rate validation and reporting
- Monitor inventory management & procedures
- Assist in daily conversion planning.
- Enforce finance procedures at the Warehouse and report.
- Track actual utility consumption and actual expenses for comparison against the budget and flag
- variances for discussion with the concerned departmental leaders.
- Track on inventory variances arising through accidents and computing the loss for insurance claims
- Monitor input against output from raw material to WIP and finally to finished goods.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Commerce, data analytics, or a related field
- CPA II or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in inventory monitoring
- Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Able to work within tight deadlines.
