Instrument Technician Job Hewatele

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation including pressure, flow, temperature, and gas analyzers
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments, PLCs and control systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment
- Assist in commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Process Control, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- At least 3 years of practical experience in instrumentation within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of industrial gases or chemical processing is an added advantage
Technical Skills:
- Calibration and maintenance of sensors and transmitters (pressure, flow, temperature)
- PLC and SCADA systems troubleshooting
- Understanding of control loops and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
- Use of diagnostic tools and calibration equipment
- Electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Documentation and reporting of maintenance activities
