Our client is a well-established company specializing in premium kitchen and bathroom solutions. They offer a curated selection of high-quality sanitaryware, fittings, and fixtures designed to meet the demands of modern residential and commercial spaces.
They are seeking an experienced Imports & Exports Officer to manage all aspects of international logistics for a fast-growing company. This role will involve coordinating imports and exports, negotiating with shipping lines and couriers, and ensuring timely deliveries while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire imports and exports process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Have complete knowledge of import procedures, including customs documentation, clearances, and regulations.
• Stay updated on applicable duties, taxes, and government regulations impacting international trade.
• Negotiate and secure the best possible rates with shipping lines, external couriers, and freight forwarders.
• Identify and implement cost-effective shipping solutions, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Handle the exportation of goods to neighbouring Kenyan countries with full compliance.
• Liaise with customs authorities, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in imports & exports, logistics, or international trade.
• In-depth knowledge of import/export procedures, including customs regulations, documentation, and tariffs.
• Strong ability to negotiate rates and build relationships with shipping lines, couriers, and freight companies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with logistics software or systems.
