Housekeeping Supervisor Job

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and compliance with company standards.
  • Train, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linen, and report shortages.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in preparing staff duty rosters and ensuring optimal staffing.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, staff attendance, and equipment maintenance.
  • Enforce health and safety standards in line with hotel and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role—preferably in a hotel or serviced apartments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
