About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Warehouse and Inventory to lead our warehouse operations and inventory management. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to ensure operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels, organize storage, and oversee shipping and receiving processes.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to meet operational goals and performance targets.
- Develop and optimize warehouse systems including product handling, storage, equipment utilization, and shipping methods.
- Oversee daily operations, logistics, and inventory control to ensure peak efficiency.
- Prepare and review workflows, staffing plans, space allocations, and equipment layouts.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to legal regulations and company standards.
- Supervise warehouse activities including quality assurance, space management, logistics, and customer service.
- Schedule and manage warehouse teams to maximize productivity and minimize overtime.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and machinery regularly.
- Analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
- Manage logistics for product transportation, ensuring efficient communication with drivers and air partners.
Experience & Skills
Extensive experience in warehouse operations including:
- Receiving and inspection
- Put-away, picking, packing, dispatching
- Returns management
- Value-adding in warehouse systems
- Proven ability to manage hourly employees and lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management is advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in warehouse management.
- Proficiency in warehouse procedures, policies, and inventory systems.
