Fuel Officer Job African Clean Energy

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Inventory Management of the fuels across all ACE locations, ensuring optimal supply of briquettes, packaging 40 kg bags across all locations and keeping up to date records on stock movement.
  • Onboarding & Training of delivery drivers/ couriers across the pilot sites and other ACE areas or locations of operations.
  • Coordination of Fuel Delivery (Order to delivery) , ensuring we are utilising the delivery framework and drivers to deliver fuel orders on time.
  • Order Fulfillment and Management. Ensure that the set standard operational procedures, processes plus cadence is well followed to avoid out of system fuel deliveries.
  • Track, analyse and report on the weekly in-bound orders to manage and ensure adequate attention is given to have delivered completed across all locations.
  • Tech support –  monitor, record any and all tech issues in the ACE connect app and sales force affecting the seamless ordering and delivery process of fuels.
  • Stake holder management , ensure effective and on time reporting of challenges and needs to departments part of the fuel sales i.e Operations, Consumer finance, Procurement.
  • Ensure sensitive customer information is protected and stored securely at all times;
  • Prepare and submit budgets  for approval on a monthly basis at least 7 days before the end of the month.
  • Any other activities determined necessary by management.

We’d really like to hear from you if you have:

  • Background in any related online/ e-commerce businesses or projects.
  • Tech Savvy – Excel , MicrosoftWord, power point, Salesforce with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience in logistics and operations or similar role preferably in renewable energy. 
  • Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive a motorcycle.
  • Recommendation and Residence letter from LC1 Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and deliver results consistently 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently 
  • Results-driven with the ability to focus on achieving set objectives and goals.
  • Must be a native of the location applied for.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili for effective customer communication.
