Finance Manager – Fairchain Coffee

Your Role
- As Finance Manager, you are responsible for the full financial management of the FairChain Kenya factory. You ensure accurate reporting, strong financial control, and provide operational insights that support decision-making.
- This is a hands-on role in a production environment where finance is closely integrated with operations. You report directly to the Group CFO and work closely with the COO and the local operations team.
- This position is ideal for an audit-trained professional who wants to move away from pure audit or reporting and become actively involved in business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial administration of FairChain Kenya
- Prepare weekly management reports and financial analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor production costs, margins, and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements
- Support external audits and regulatory reporting
- Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting structures
- Work closely with operations to improve efficiency and cost control
- Supervise and support local finance staff
Systems & Tools
- Experience with Odoo ERP is a strong advantage
- Experience with other ERP systems is required if no Odoo experience
- Strong Excel skills
What You Bring
- CPA-K (Finalist) – mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Experience at an audit firm is strongly preferred
- 4–6 years of audit or finance experience
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial controls
- Experience in a production or operational environment is an advantage
