The overall purpose of this job is
- Financial Management and strategy for the organization – leading the financial planning process.
- Management Accounting strategy – costing and tail management
- Responsibility over overall procurement strategy and policies
- Administration and legal compliance
Reporting
Reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will be responsible for the following;

- Consolidated financial plan based on business plan, annual, 3-year and 5-year operational plans. Business financing plan.
- Consolidated KPIs for the organization as part of management accounting systems and tail management. KPIs reporting templates and systems for the organization.
- Sound financial management system with appropriate controls,
- Consolidated year-end accounts, monthly income statements, cash-flow, balance sheet, capital expenditure
- Accounts receivables and accounts payables plan for the organization and age analysis reports for the same.
- Asset register for the organization, insurance of assets
- Procurement policy and plan, including SOPs
- Legal compliance documentation and licenses including company registration, tax compliance and reporting.
- Financial investment decisions based on objective analysis.
- Any other duties related to the roles as may be prescribed by senior management.
Academic Qualifications Education, Knowledge & Experience
- Professional accounts certification, CPA (K);
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration – Accounting, Finance option or a related discipline is an added advantage.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years’ previous experience in similar / related functions in Accounts and Finance,
- Good working knowledge of accounting system is required
- Good computer skills with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
- Ability to demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
