About the Role

We are seeking a Field Technician Intern to support our Service Delivery & Support team with on-site technical operations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in internet/network infrastructure, customer installations, and field maintenance within a fast-paced ISP environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Install, configure, and support fiber, wireless, and Ethernet network connections at client premises
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure service reliability and performance
  • Perform radio tower climbing for installation, alignment, and maintenance activities, where required
  • Conduct site surveys to assess technical feasibility and installation requirements
  • Assist in the setup, testing, and configuration of networking and connectivity equipment
  • Provide courteous and professional customer support during installations and service visits
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and client interactions
  • Comply with company procedures, safety standards, and field operation guidelines always
  • Work closely with senior technicians and team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Training will be provided, prior work experience is an added advantage
  • Strong interest in technology, networking, and field operations
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights, including climbing radio towers
  • Good problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules where required
  • High level of professionalism with a customer-focused mindset
