Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the Kenyan market. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess market trends. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.
- Responsible for Technical Sales for Kirloskar & SPP Pumps, Kirloskar Air Compressors, and Kirloskar Chillers. Responsible for Order Booking and payment collection, and complete Presales, Order acquisition, Order execution Payment collection.
- Demonstrate how products meet client needs and offer tailored solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Technical Expertise:
- Offer technical support to clients regarding Kirloskar & SPP Pumps, Kirloskar Air Compressors, and Kirloskar Chillers.
- Stay updated with the latest product developments and industry trends.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market analysis.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales plans
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team, engineers, and other departments to coordinate efforts, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Must have good local market knowledge and should have good industry connect in Kenya.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of sales experience in Pumps, Air Compressors and Chillers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of the products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
