In this role, you will be responsible for collecting Grease Scrap from vendors, maintaining company vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and compliance, supporting logistics in pickups, and providing market insights while upholding safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Collection of Grease Scrap from the food industry e.g., hotels, restaurants, canteens, clubs, food processors, etc. With a monthly target.
• Facilitate proper documentation of the Grease Scrap collection process.
• Maintain Company vehicles through regular checks and meet service timelines
• Maintain liaison with vendors to get Grease Scrap on a regular basis
• Help with the pickup process of Grease Scrap in collaboration with the logistics team
• Maintain traffic rules and regulations when driving.
• Maintain Vehicle security on the road or outside company premises.
• Provide feedback and update on the market intelligence, competition, and reaction.
• Ensure the Vehicles have the correct licenses while in use and keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum KCSE Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license (with relevant categories B1).
• Familiarity with Nairobi and other major towns’ routes.
• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and material handling procedures
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and adherence to safety standards.
