Job Function
Perform duties as per the standard operating procedures
Key Performance Areas:
- Safely make deliveries to customers in a timely manner.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of products from the vehicle.
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the vehicle.
- Prevent and deny the unauthorized use of and carriage of passengers within the vehicle.
- Undertake legitimate journeys commissioned through the dispatch team.
- Operate the vehicle in compliance to all national traffic laws.
- Report all vehicle defects and maintenance requirements to Fleet Manager immediately upon discovery.
- Properly account for fuel, mileage and consumables issued on the vehicle.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the dispatch team and the fleet manager.
- Correctly complete the vehicle movement chart for all journeys undertaken.
- Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management immediately.
- Operate the vehicle strictly within the designated area of operation.
- Keep abreast with changes in traffic rules and regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum high school certificate or equivalent
- AA Kenya certified certificate
Experience and Skills Required:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Valid driving License
- Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply
