Are you a skilled legal writer with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for justice? We’re looking for a Drafting Assistant to support our personal injury legal team in creating clear, compelling, and accurate legal documents.
Your Responsibilities:
- Draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements
- Prepare professional correspondence for clients, insurance firms, and medical providers
- Review and summarize case documents, including police reports and medical records
- Organize case files and maintain precise documentation
- Ensure grammatical, legal, and formatting accuracy in all documents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and compliance with legal standards
Your Profile:
- High school diploma required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies preferred
- Prior experience in personal injury law or legal support is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software
- Familiarity with legal terminology and formatting standards
- Professional, organized, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
