Role Overview

We’re seeking a Digital Manager to oversee our digital presence and social media accounts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of African media, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for telling authentic African stories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital strategies that align with our goals and enhance our brand presence across Africa.
• Adapt diverse content for digital platforms and create engaging social media posts.
• Manage social media accounts, edit and optimize short-form videos, and build online communities.
• Use analytics to track performance and refine strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on digital trends relevant to African audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in digital communications, social media management, or content marketing.
• Experience editing short-form videos (e.g., reels, TikToks, shorts).
• Knowledge of popular social media platforms in Africa.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and strategic thinker with project management abilities.
• Familiarity with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.).
• Cultural awareness and respect for Africa’s diversity.

Working Conditions

• Part-time, remote position anywhere in Africa
• Flexible hours with some availability during standard business hours
• Reliable internet required; necessary digital tools provided
