Key Responsibilities:
Team Management.
- Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing feedback, guidance, and career development. Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to develop KPIs that reflect the performance and efficiency of our cloud environment and diverse toolset.
CI/CD Pipeline Management.
- Define and implement best practices and standards for DevOps processes and tools. Oversee the development and refinement of CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, ensuring they meet stringent security and compliance standards.
Cloud Infrastructure Management.
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services, using technologies such as AWS.
Monitoring and Analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance, availability, and security of the infrastructure and applications, using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc. and preemptively address potential issues.
Collaboration.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle. Coordinate with outsourced companies to ensure timely and effective patching of critical infrastructure, maintaining system security and reliability.
Change Control Management.
- Facilitate Change Control Meetings, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and documentation of all IT infrastructure changes.
Service Delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the service delivery team to ensure high service availability and lead Root Cause Analysis sessions for issue mitigation. Ensure 24/7 standby schedules to quickly address any production issues.
Compliance.
- Strengthen collaboration with information security, compliance and internal audit teams for adherence to international standards like PCI DSS, regulatory expectations and payment scheme requirements.
Technology Leadership and Adaptation.
Stay updated with the latest in cloud technologies, security practices, and CI/CD methodologies to keep our multinational operations secure and efficient.
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps and software engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing a DevOps team.
- Strong knowledge and experience in cloud computing, containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge and experience in DevOps tools and frameworks, such as AWS, GitLab etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience in GoLang, Python, and AWS CLI.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Certifications in AWS or other relevant technologies are a plus.
