We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Project Manager on behalf of our client, a global IT and innovation powerhouse, for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project timelines. This individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end design project workflows, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards in project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage multiple design projects, tracking deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
- Maintain centralized and up-to-date project documentation and timelines across tools like Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Loop, Planner, and Microsoft Teams.
- Support resource planning and allocation decisions in collaboration with producers and design leads.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and project reviews using a hybrid project management approach.
- Act as the communication bridge between design, engineering, marketing, and product teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of goals.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and risk mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
- Prepare end users for upcoming design-related changes by coordinating documentation, training, and transition support.
- Champion design process improvements through the use of AI tools and project forecasting methods.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing design or digital product projects, ideally within fast-paced, high-performance environments.
- Experience working in design studios or tech-driven organizations with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong proficiency in project collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Loop, and M365 Copilot.
- Familiarity with Figma and design system workflows, including taxonomy, versioning, and asset management.
- Demonstrable experience in task coordination, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Proven ability to implement hybrid project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to drive productivity and alignment.
- Exposure to AI-powered tools that enhance project delivery—such as automating task assignments or predicting timelines—is a strong plus.
