Job Overview

Kenafric Beverages and Bottling Ltd (KBBL), a leading beverage manufacturer in Kenya, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Clerk to support warehouse and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, inventory integrity, and efficient dispatch tracking to help the company maintain high performance in inventory management and customer satisfaction.

This role is perfect for professionals with strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and a passion for logistics and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Shelf Monitoring & Expiry Tracking

  • Record and report stock by expiry dates and batches to ensure 100% FEFO (First Expired, First Out) compliance.
  • Eliminate errors in expired or damaged stock entries.

Raw & Packaging Material Monitoring

  • Track daily receipts and issues of raw/packaging materials to prevent stockouts and ensure smooth production.

Dispatch & Delivery Tracking

  • Accurately document dispatches to achieve >96% On-Time-In-Full-Error-Free (OTIFEF) deliveries.
  • Follow up on dispatch statuses for efficiency.

Customer Returns & Quality Documentation

  • Log all returns and damages promptly.
  • Support root cause analysis to maintain <0.5% return rate and zero warehouse-related damages.

Warehouse Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Assist in documenting hygiene audits and near-miss reports to ensure >95% compliance and zero safety incidents.

Dispatch Lead Time Monitoring

  • Record daily dispatch times and generate weekly reports to maintain ≤24-hour dispatch lead time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SAP & Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions).
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical thinking for inventory management and FEFO compliance.
  • Attention to detail in expiry monitoring and data accuracy.
  • Time management to meet strict dispatch deadlines.
