- Basic production procedures, safety precautions and good manufacturing practices
- Project management skills including research and development

Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring all OSHA requirements are met
- Ensuring firefighting equipment are in place and fully serviced
- Ensuring mandatory audits as per OSHA & NEMA requirements are conducted annuals and any mitigation measures recommended are rectified as per the outlined timelines
- Ensuring water and electricity are optimally utilized to avoid wastage
- All fire exits are clear and emergency doors have keys in glass casings for retrieval in case of an emergency
- Factory gangways are marked and clear of clutter
- Ensuring compliance in machines- all machine guards should be in place at all times
- Reporting accidents to DOSH within 48hrs after occurrence and maintaining an updated general register
- Follow up on work related injuries and compile monthly reports to the to shared with HRM and Compliance Manager
- Enforcing house keeping rules to ensure a clean and organized work place
