Duties and Responsibilities
- Guide the planning and execution of public works projects in the county.
- Supervise the design, implementation, and evaluation of county buildings and structures.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and consultants for effective project delivery.
- Prepare departmental reports, budgets, and procurement plans.
- Oversee inspection of ongoing public works projects.
- Develop staff capacity within the department.
- Provide strategic input into the county’s infrastructural master plan.
