CCTV Control Room Operators Job BM Security

- Education: Basic security course. A certificate or diploma in a Business-related field or Social Sciences will be an added advantage.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the security field.
- Skills & Attributes: Proficiency in IT, Interpersonal skills, Good analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor live CCTV surveillance systems to detect and prevent security threats in an effective and efficient manner.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures and data protection regulations.
- Maintain CCTV recordings of daily activities and incident reports.
- Control access to all visitors to the control room in order to maintain high security and confidentially of the CCTV operation.
- Operate all emergency communications equipment to include UHF/VHF/HF/GSM radios, Cell phones, landlines and vehicle tracking system.
- Coordinate response to to all emergency situations in liaison with relevant authorities/institutions i.e fire alarms, medical alerts/requests, suspected or detected crimes and other related situations during emergencies
- Report faulty CCTV cameras, security equipment as per the established site procedures immediately.
- The ideal candidate for the above position should also be a team player with drive and initiative and demonstrate ability to achieve results.
