Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking a Watchtower Officer to join our security team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.

The Watchtower Officer is responsible for vigilant surveillance of assigned areas, detecting and reporting suspicious activities, safeguarding company property, and coordinating with the security team for timely responses.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent; Diploma in Security Management or related field is an added advantage.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a security or surveillance role, preferably in watchtower operations or facility security.
• Basic knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and surveillance techniques.
• Keen observation, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and remain calm in emergencies.
• Physical fitness and comfort working in elevated positions.
• High integrity, alertness, and situational awareness.

Key Competencies

• Maintain constant surveillance from the watchtower or designated observation points.
• Monitor entry and exit points for unauthorized access using CCTV, binoculars, and other equipment.
• Report security breaches, suspicious persons, or unusual incidents promptly to the Security Supervisor.
• Assist ground security personnel during emergencies and coordinate response actions.
• Protect company assets within surveillance zones, including parking areas and storage facilities.
• Adhere to all security protocols, company policies, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine checks on surveillance equipment and submit daily incident reports.
