About the Role:
We are hiring a highly skilled Data Analyst for one of our clients, to support their business intelligence efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with data, has solid experience in Python and AWS, and can turn raw data into actionable insights. Familiarity with Docker and affiliate marketing is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets using Python to identify business trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Database Management: Query, clean, and manage data within MySQL databases.
- Cloud Tools (AWS): Leverage AWS services (such as Lambda, ECR, S3) for automated data processing, storage, reporting, and analysis.
- Automation: Build and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive data-related tasks.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop intuitive dashboards and visualizations using Python-based tools (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn) to communicate findings.
- API Integration: Access and integrate data from third-party sources via APIs.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and validate data to ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all systems.
- Containerization (Optional): Use Docker to manage and deploy data environments efficiently.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams to understand data needs, gather requirements, and deliver insights aligned with business goals.
- Rapid Learning: Stay up to date and quickly adapt to new BI tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (3+ years).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (2+ years).
- Solid understanding of MySQL/SQL (1+ year).
- Experience working with and integrating APIs.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker for containerizing environments.
- Understanding of affiliate marketing or digital marketing analytics.
